The Annual Holiday Concert and Sing-Along is a popular Atlas tradition!

The holidays are not complete without this annual concert and sing-along getting everyone in the mood for the festive season.

The Atlas Performing Arts Center is filled with holiday musical favorites performed by the full 50-member Capital City Symphony and sung by over 120 voices of the Congressional Chorus and American Youth Chorus. Not to be left out, audiences participate with a holiday favorites sing-along. The celebration continues with cookies and mingling in the Kogod Lobby following the performance.

Tickets are FREE but must be reserved ($4 per ticket service fee). Tickets must be collected on the day of the performance at least 30 minutes before the performance. All tickets that have not been collected 30 minutes prior to the performance will be distributed to patrons on the wait list.

Up to two (2) tickets are allowed per order.  If the performances are sold-out, call the Atlas Box Office to join the waiting list. 202.399.7993 ext 2.

Sunny, the zoo’s sole orangutan, is delighted to get a new roommate, but things don’t go smoothly when Licorice first arrives. Sunny likes to be loud, but Licorice prefers to read the newspaper. And Licorice likes to keep things tidy, Sunny keeps making a mess! When the zookeeper leaves a radio behind, a curious thing happens — toes start tapping and arms start swinging. Could music bring this “odd couple” together? Featuring live music and a special tap finale inspired by movie musicals of the 1930s & 40s! Best for ages 2- 5.
