The Oasis Dance Company holds its fourth annual gala “El Passaporte” on Sunday, September 21. The event, “El Passaporte” will feature a cocktail hour, dancers from all over the east coast, a runway fashion event and an award show, with a portion of the proceeds going to Joseph’s House, a welcoming community providing comprehensive nursing and support services to homeless men and women dying of cancer or AIDS. In addition, seven community leaders and organizations will be recognized for their distinguished service to LGBTQ youth in the DC Metropolitan area.

Beat the August heat and discover the Atlas transformed into a one-day poker room. Test your luck, skill, and fortune in this popular Vegas-style poker tournament with big prizes!
 
Prizes $5,000-$10,000

Deep Stack of 20,000 chips to start. On-site registration begins at 11:00 am, tournament begins at 11:30.

Transportation There is plenty of street parking nearby. The Union Station Metro is the closest, a 20 minute walk. Several bus lines service H Street.
 
Tournament Prizes and Payouts Prizes will be given to placing finishers or players involved in a chop deal. The blind levels will be 25-30 minutes long, a slow, deliberate schedule with antes added in the 8th level. Limited to 120 entries. 
 
Your donations are tax deductible donations to the Atlas Performing Arts Center! Partial proceeds benefit the Atlas, home for adventurous ideas, artists, and audiences. Players must be 18 years of age or older.
