In this dance theater we journey from an old nursery rhyme in Bengal, to early-twentieth century US and India, to now, only to find that even now, patriarchy has boxed women into narrow roles transforming them into living dolls, devoid of independent thought. This performance explores their choreographed existence, and whether they able to break free.
