Carl Theodor Dreyer’s The Passion of Joan of Arc will be live scored utilizing analog and digital sound equipment and software, including modular synth, eurorack, internet radio, and artist-created instruments and conductive objects.
“During the pandemic, I began to explore performance for social media, creating sculptures that would fit into the frame of Instagram, per se, outfitting them with computers and code I programmed in order to play them as digital instruments. These instruments were constructed from found objects, such as a sewing box, copper plumbing hardware, driftwood, etc.” (John Moletress)
