Tales from Nesodrill is a show using hip-hop beats with musical theater to tell the stories of young people, and the adults around them, navigating challenges and making decisions about who they will be.
The close-knit residents of Nesodrill are pushing back. They’ve been anxious, protective, and uncertain – until now. When they decide to push back against stereotypes about cross-cultural relationships, misunderstandings about what it means to be neurodivergent, or fear of losing a close relationship because of secrets…Will they push each other away or become the community they believe they can be?
“What a courageous, thoughtful, I’m not going to run, I’m going to stay and tell the truth, kind of cast. I’m encouraged about their next chapter, for us and them!”
Sandi Holloway, Director/Facilitator
