Improv Jam + Community Workshop with GRIDLOCK Dance
Join the company members of GRIDLOCK Dance and Madeline Maxine Gorman, one of the Atlas Arts Lab Fellows, for an Improv Jam + Community Workshop on Sunday, April 16 from 2:30-4:00pm. Participants will move and groove with the dancers, share ideas and feedback on the company’s new work, and be part of a guided discussion on themes of rest, work, and labor.
The best part? It’s totally free and open to all levels.
An improv jam is a place for people to experiment and move simply for the joy of moving. The improv jam will be guided with ideas and suggestions, but participants can expect to do everything at their own pace—taking breaks whenever needed.
Join us to get moving, make creative choices, and be part of the Atlas arts community.
Note: This class is recommended for individuals aged 14+.
