The performance combines live instrumental and vocal music, short films from Simpson’s 2020 “Sparklers” daily video series with live and recorded accompaniment, dance pieces featured and in dialogue with film, story, and song. The music ranges from pop to folk to jazz to electronic to world music styles (Greece, Argentina, Spain).
