This beauty pageant platform is a non-conventional way to do HIV prevention and education through categories such as talent, evening gown, avant-garde, creative costume, and swimsuit. This pageant also is to make each one of our participants, friends, and sponsors, regardless of race or color, feel proud of our Latino Heritage. The main goal of our organization is to promote inclusion and diversity of our community within North American society and its communities (Afro, Asian, Anglo, etc.) keeping alive our roots and our Spanish language. It is our purpose, through our beauty pageant, volunteer work with local organizations, and activism within the community in general, to become a community more celebrated, recognized, and with more opportunities for all in this country.
