Rite of Spring, Crash of Fall + Glacier

GLACIER: A Climate Change Ballet, is directed by DC-based climate change policy expert and dance professional Diana Movius. GLACIER unveils a world affected by climate change by placing a changing Arctic environment in front of the audience. RITE OF SPRING, CRASH OF FALL: combines the iconic Rite of Spring score and storyline with the anniversary of the financial collapse to probe themes of power, accountability, and collective action.

ABOUT MOVEIUS CONTEMPORARY DANCE

Contemporary Ballet’s mission is to catalyze new choreography in the National Capital area, and to increase opportunities for dancers, audiences, and students to meaningfully experience dance and the performing arts.
