Oeuvre is the total output of an artist. This evening CMI shares the inspiration behind each of the artists’ work performed. Experience the behind the scenes creation of dance and art woven through live performances on stage to present all of Capitol Movement’s body of work through bodies at work.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Capitol Movement has been a Washington DC nonprofit since October 2005, offering dance class, and performance opportunities to adults, teens and kids. Our studio offers classes to motivate, challenge and mentor dancers of all ages. Capitol Movement was founded to create better lives through dance – spanning hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and more.
We provide teaching and choreography opportunities, and programs for everyone, regardless of socioeconomic barriers and skill level. We also offer master classes, workshops, outreach, scholarships, and community engagement. Our Adult Company and studio classes provide a creative outlet for dance passion – truly empowering through artistry.
