How do we continue to build our capacity for hope and imagination in the face of human understanding, which at times can feel limiting and defeatist?
Through ‘Trust Ancestral Knowing’, a multimedia performance ritual, syBLINGS! will explore the importance of protecting the imagination, intentional stillness, and challenging narratives that do not serve the impetus necessary for true freedom. They will lovingly guide audience members into a more receptive and curious mindset through by engaging them in – collective affirmation, altar building, movement, singing, storytelling, conversation and more. These practices will activate intuition and trust, so that folks are more attuned to the ever-present internal wisdom that is being given to them by their Ancestors.
syBLINGS! experiences the art world – creating, songwriting, music making, communing with our Ancestors and storytelling – as vital to navigating the ‘real world’. Trust Ancestral Knowing, is an invitation – sharing ‘the how‘ of our art world practices with the larger community.
